Join this session for a review of CSE's unique research on ESG Top Performing Companies in North America. The research explores common success practices, including the most widely used ESG Ratings and Standards used in 16 Sectors.
-CSE’s unique research on ESG criteria in North America took place at the end of 2021 and identified the Top 10 ESG Performing Companies in 16 sectors, and analyzed common success practices including the most widely used ESG Standards by each company.
-The Research used consolidated scores from several ESG rating agencies for each company (eg. CSRHub, MSCI, CDP, Sustainalytics) and analyzed ESG reporting practices and standards/frameworks used (eg. SASB, TCFD, GRI, SBTi ).
-The research identified an increase in carbon neutrality and net zero goals as well as an increased publication of ESG Scores and Ratings within the Sustainability (ESG) Reports. This is evident of the turning of top companies towards a more strategic approach towards ESG strategy and the use of standards and frameworks, which allow for better consolidation of scores, easier comparability and greater transparency.
The research also showed interesting conclusions with regards to the dynamic of each sector, but also a tool/methodology that can be used for improving ESG performance.
